Dr Francis Ngui is the Medical Director and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist of Adam Road Medical Centre and a Visiting Consultant Psychogeriatrician to various nursing homes in Singapore. He is the Past Medical Director of Adam Road Hospital from 2002 to 2007.
He has been in the practice of Psychiatry since 1987 and in Geriatric Psychiatry since 1995. He completed his fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry and General Hospital Psychiatry as a Senior Registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Inner & Eastern Healthcare Network in Melbourne, Australia.
From 1987 to 2002, he worked in various psychiatric services at Woodbridge Hospital, the Institute of Health Child Psychiatric Clinic, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the Institute of Mental Health and Changi General Hospital.
In Forensic Psychiatry, he has served as Expert Witness for civil and criminal cases in the Subordinate and High Courts of Singapore.
He has been involved with teaching at the National University of Singapore's Graduate School of Medical Studies as a past lecturer and organizing committee member of the Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine.
He is a Past Chairman of the Sembawang Family Service Centre, Past President of the Singapore Psychiatric Association, Past Vice-President of the Singapore Association for Mental Health and former Assistant Editor for the International Psychogeriatric Association Bulletin. He was a past member of the International Advisory Board, World Psychiatric Association Regional and Intersection Congress in 2005.
At the Ministry of Health, he has been a workgroup committee member for the Clinical Practice Guidelines for Schizophrenia and Dementia and for the National Mental Health Subcommittee on Psychogeriatric Services.
His experience covers a broad range of mental health conditions occurring in youths, adults and the elderly.

| Dr Ung has been
practicing psychiatry for 17 years, initially in the United
Kingdom and locally since 1993. He was previously Clinical
Director of the Department of Psychological Medicine, NUH
and head of the child & adolescent psychiatry division.
He remains a Visiting Consultant to NUH. He has professional
memberships with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK and
Singapore Psychiatric Association. He is a fellow of the Academy
of Medicine, Singapore. His areas of interest are in obesity,
eating disorders, stress and psychotherapy (He is a supervisor
and lecturer with the NUS Graduate School of Medicine’s
cognitive-behaviour psychotherapy diploma programme.) Dr Ung
is a past vice president of the Singapore Association of Workplace
Health Promotion Facilitators.
He is the co-author of the 4 books (Stress and Distress,
Preparing your child from Primary One, The Early Years and
Parenting Young Children) and has contributed chapters in
Textbook of Occupational Medicine Practice and Slim Chance,
Fat Hope. He has published articles in local, regional and
international journals in the areas of Mental health policy,
eating disorders, suicide and stress. He has lectured and
conducted workshops on stress management, communication and
other topics for various organizations including National
University Hospital, Glaxo Smith Kline, Dupont, EDB, AIA,
NTUC, Abacus, Singapore Police Force and Hewlett-Packard.

Dr Wong Yip Chong has over 40
years of experience in the practice of psychiatry. He was
former Consultant Psychiatrist of Woodbridge Hospital and
Founder and former Head of National University of Singapore's
Department of Psychiatry which he headed from 1959 and till
1968.
In 1973, he established Adam Road Hospital,
which he heads as Medical Director. Through its Total Wellness
Centre, he has made contributions in the creation of public
awareness of mental illness, prevention and treatment of mental
ill-health and promotion of positive mental health in the
community. |

| Dr Hoili Lim is a licensed clinical
psychologist in the state of Hawaii, USA, and a member of
the American Psychological Association. She has returned to
Singapore for the last three years. While in Hawaii she has

of Education.
