What should I do
if I have a relative who's behaving strangely?
A person who is behaving strangely,
such as hearing voices, talking to themselves, very withdrawn, violent,
etc, may need to need treatment from a Psychiatrist. For more
information on our services, please contact the centre
during office hours.
Do I need a referral?
A referral is not necessary. To arrange an appointment to consult
a Psychiatrist or Psychologist, please contact us.
What are the operating hours?
Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 1:00pm

What is the difference
between a psychiatrist and a psychologist?
A Psychiatrist is a medically qualified physician
who specialises in the study and treatment (medication, ECT, psychotherapy
and other accepted modalities) of mental disorders. A Clinical Psychologist
specialises in human behaviour and is qualified to administer psychological
tests and evaluation and conduct counselling and psychotherapy.
