Pacific Healthcare Opens New Specialist & Wellness Centre
A whole new perspective on wellness and healthcare.
Singapore, 14 October 2004 – One of
Singapore’s leading healthcare service providers, Pacific
Healthcare Holdings (“Pacific Healthcare”), today
announced the opening of its new Medical Specialist Clinics
& Wellness Facilities on the penthouse level of Paragon
in the heart of Orchard Road. This facility aims to meet the
total well-being of the patient and provides a range of services
including health profiling, specialist medical care and ancillary
services.
Dr William Chong, Executive Chairman of Pacific Healthcare
said, “Our concept is to create an environment where
Singapore’s established strength in Specialist Healthcare
can be further augmented by levels of service and hospitality
normally associated with countries like Switzerland, and where
we can all have respite from the stresses of modern living.”
He added that while Pacific Healthcare’s specialists
will focus on its core competence in the fields of cosmetic
surgery, dermatology, obstetrics & gynaecology and implant
and aesthetic dentistry, there will also be separately managed
ancillary services to cater to the general well-being of patients.
This includes a maternity spa and facilities for face, skin
and bodycare. The new facility, which occupies 10,000 square
feet, will complement the Group’s existing multi-disciplinary
specialist centre and day surgery, also at the Paragon.

and health trends, and Singapore is no exception.”

The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic / MD Specialist Healthcare
Run by Pacific Healthcare Executive Director & Consultant
Plastic Surgeon, Dr Martin Huang, this clinic provides a complete
scope of medical and surgical services for aesthetic enhancement
and rejuvenation of the face, breast and body. Specially designed
to provide maximum comfort and confidentiality, there are
discreet alcoves in the waiting area of the clinic for additional
privacy.
Pacific Specialist Practice / MD Specialist Healthcare
Two consultant obstetrician and gynaecologists, Dr Julianah
Abu and Dr Julinda Lee, and cosmetic dermatologist, Dr Patricia
Yuen, provide services to address women’s’ health
problems relating to fertility, obstetrics, menopause and
dermatology. In addition, there will be visiting consultants
from other disciplines. The centre will also focus on individualised
health profiling and preventive medicine following screening
for specific biochemical and hormonal markers of disease and
aging.
The Wellness Lounge
The Wellness Lounge is designed to be a haven for total-pampering,
and offers a comprehensive range of facial and body contouring
services to help one achieve a healthy and shapely body with
glowing skin. The lounge has 11 specially appointed treatment
rooms.
HAACH Touch
The spa will focus on maternity-related services such as antenatal
and post-natal massages and exercises. Regular spa favourites,
such as hydrobaths and other stress-relieving therapies are
available along with hair-care, foot-care and hand-care.
