Arthritic
Pain
Pain and stiffness of joints caused by arthritis. Arthritis is
the inflammation of the joints and it can happen at any part
of the body where two bones meet.
Chronic
Fatigue
The person feels too tired to do normal activities or is
easily exhausted with no apparent reason. Chronic fatigue does
not resolve with a few good nights of sleep and its symptoms
either persist or come and go frequently for more than 6
months. Symptoms can include headache, tender lymph nodes,
fatigue and weakness, muscle and joint aches and inability to
concentrate.
Insomnia
Difficulty in falling asleep and/or having a night of
uninterrupted rest.
Asthma
A chronic disease that affects the air passages to the lungs.
Patients with asthma have very sensitive air passages that
tend to react strongly to things which they are allergic or
find irritating. When the airways react, they get narrower and
less air flows through to your lung tissues. This causes
symptoms like wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and
difficulty in breathing.
Allergies
Abnormal immune system reactions to things that are typically
harmless to most people. When a person is allergic to
something, his immune system mistakenly believes that this
substance is harmful to his body and produces antibodies to
act against the allergen. These antibodies cause the body to
release chemicals into the bloodstream and they then act on a
person's eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, or gastrointestinal
tract to cause symptoms of an allergic reaction. Allergic
reactions range from mild, like a runny nose or rashes, to
severe, like hyperventilation.
